- Kenmore water filter 9999 has NSF certifications 42, 53, 372 and 401. It reduces parasites, lead, chlorine taste and odor, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and some pesticides and pharmaceuticals
- Water filter 9999 fits select Kenmore and Kenmore Elite French door, bottom freezer refrigerators
- Before installing the filter, be sure to turn off the water supply to the refrigerator.
- The filter housing is located in the Bosch refrigerator. The filter housing typically has the right-hand side of the storage chamber.
- Press the latch on the filter housing to open the door.
- Remove the old filter by turning it counterclockwise and pulling it out.
- Be sure to remove the red cap from the new filter and insert it into the filter housing.
- Turn the filter clockwise until it clicks into place.
- Close the filter housing door until it clicks into place.
- Turn on the water supply to the refrigerator.
- Run the filter for five minutes to remove any accidental or incidental materials.

Note: Replace the filter sign every six months or after dispensing 300 gallons of water, whichever comes first.
