- Turn off the ice maker and water supply valve to the refrigerator.
- Locate the filter housing on the inside of the refrigerator.
- Twist the old filter counterclockwise to remove it.
- Align the new filter with the grooves in the filter housing and twist it clockwise until it stops.
- Turn on the water supply and ice maker and flush 1-2 gallons of water through the new filter to remove any air or carbon fines.
- Reset the filter replacement indicator light if your refrigerator has one.
